A couple of weeks ago the “media” (read: Obama’s unpaid election machinery) thought it worthy news to “investigate” Mitt Romney’s high school years. So, it’s “newsworthy” to see what Mitt Romney was up to in high school — before he was legally an adult — but, to date, the same “media” hasn’t been able to dig up Barrack Obama’s college transcripts and seem uninterested in doing so?
Yeah, how about that “unbiased” media?
Well, leave it to the generally pro-Obama Buzzfeed to go tit-for-tat and actually do some digging on Obama’s high-school record:
In another section of the [senior] yearbook, students were given a block of space to express thanks and define their high school experience. … Nestled below [Obama’s] photographs was one odd line of gratitude: “Thanks Tut, Gramps, Choom Gang, and Ray for all the good times.” … A hippie drug-dealer made his acknowledgments; his own mother did not.
But don’t worry, he never used heroine!
I actually don’t think an investigative piece on Obama’s high school years is either informative or relevant in a political campaign. Who didn’t do stupid things in high school? But the fact that the “media” thinks that Romney’s high school years are “important” but they never even bothered to do anything to vet Obama before he was elected tells you all that you need to know about the mainstream press.
PS-I’ve been out of town for the past two weeks. Thanks to “blogs4romney” for covering for me.
