I do not know what the future lies in store for us.  I no longer think we have the willpower to make the tough decisions.  But the tough decisions will have to be made, or they will be made for us.

Balancing the budget will happen whether we want it or not.

We have chosen the path of Greece or Spain and fiscal collapse.  Elections have consequences.

If you haven’t voted, go vote.  Take someone with you.

If you’ve voted, volunteer.  Make phone calls.  Even if you are in a solidly red state, the phone calls you make for the Romney campaign today will be to people in swing states.

I can taste this victory. It’s right there in front of us. But we need you to do more than you’ve ever done in the past.

But you know what? In this election, it’s actually true. This election really is about the future we are leaving our children.

No matter who wins, our children have now been strapped with the largest national debt in peacetime history. And for what? Lowered expectations.

There is an argument to be made that borrowing today is justified when such borrowing leads to greater economic growth. That’s what we call an investment.

But Obama’s borrowing has not led to greater economic growth. Borrowing to fund today’s government has led to dimmer prospects for the future, not brighter prospects.

This man has to go. It’s up to to you. And this time it really is for the children.

No amount of smug idealism will mollify impoverished future generations who ask why you did nothing on this day, the final moment in which there was time to turn from the precipice.

This time, it’s not enough to vote. This time, it’s not enough just to give money.

This time, you must take a fence sitter with you to vote. This time, you need to donate time — the most precious commodity you have — to the cause of liberty.

Our forefathers gave their lives so you could be free. Our forefathers crossed oceans so you could be free. A few hours of your time is not so high a price to pay for liberty.

iVoteIsrael held a press conference today, at which they announced that 85%(!!!!) of the ballots cast by American citizens residing in Israel for the US elections went to Mitt Romney. 85%!!!!!

Clearly, among those who know the most about US-Israeli relations — Americans actually living in Israel — Mitt Romney is the candidate who they believe will do most to bolster this unique relationship.

The Romney campaign, on the other hand, uses industry standard verification for donors and therefore is much less susceptible to this sort of fraud.

I hate to link it, but I will make the rare exception in this case since I like Aaron Klein despite his affiliation with … WND:

Using a Pakistani Internet Protocol and proxy server, a disposable credit card and a fake address, “Osama bin Laden” has successfully donated twice to Barack Obama’s presidential re-election campaign.

The “Bin Laden” donations, actually made by WND staff, included a listed occupation of “deceased terror chief” and a stated employer of “al-Qaida.”

“Bin Laden” is currently set up on the official campaign website to contribute more to Obama’s campaign. The name is also registered as a volunteer.

Since the “foreign” contribution was sent, “Bin Laden’s” email address has received several solicitations from Obama’s campaign asking for more donations.

On Sunday The Des Moines Register, Cedar Rapids Gazette, and Quad City Times and the Sioux City Journal all endorsed the Republican candidate.  In 2008, Romney was endorsed only by The Fort Dodge Messenger and Omaha World Herald.  The final tally means Romney has now secured an unprecedented sweep of endorsements from the six largest papers in the crucial swing-state.

The accomplishment is unprecedented for many reasons.  For one, it’s the first time all the papers have collectively endorsed the same candidate in over 70 years. Four years ago, candidate Obama received warm endorsements from three of the newspapers, and Romney is the first Republican to be endorsed by the Register in 40 years.

Obama isn’t a philosopher, he isn’t a messiah, he isn’t a bi-partisan coalition builder. He also isn’t a devil, or some kind of terrible human being…He’s just a failed president. There were others before him and there will be more after, as well.

Luckily, America has NEVER double doubled down on a FAILED PRESIDENCY…I cannot imagine Barack Obama will be the first to break this pattern.
